Conservative_dad How many prem titles has Klopp actually won since that photo? You must have loads to talk the way you do

More than any other manager except Pep is the right answer

Ranieri, Conte (maybe Mourinho can't rem d8 of that photo)

Average finishing position under Klopp (your best-ever prem period) = 3.4

Average finishing position for United in our shitest-ever prem period = 4.3

1 prem, 1 FA Cup, 1 League Cup, 1 CL in seven years

Is that really the record of a gr8 team?

Not sure I said anything about "great".
You don't have to be that great than do better than Man Utd in recent years.

Just to remind you yet again, take a look at the number of European Cups and Champions Leagues and to further remind you that football didn't start with the Premier League.

Seems quite regular that someone scores at both ends

It's impressive how Uniteds bald saviour has come in and turned things around. Results have been brilliant since he came in.

Oh well, you've always got McTominay as back up.

Not that convinced United are playing particularly well but they have a much stronger spine of the team and it makes such a difference. Fred is OK but the likes of Casemiro and Eriksen provide much more.

Problems in attack are still apparent. Not a Rashford fan but he’s been a lot better this season but as a team, they’re not scoring enough goals - aside from a few routine wins over the likes of Bournemouth. 9th in the league in terms of goals scored

Well of course. If Man Utd (self-professed biggest club on the planet) EVER play and fail to beat Reading it should be seen as abject failure, whatever 11 are on the pitch.

But I thought we were talking about Arsenal.

Yeah, the back 5 and Casimero have all done well. The attack is a little disjointed. Not a lot of depth to call on. All the attacking subs on the bench last night were teenagers (Pellistri, Elanga, Garnacho)

From memory Manure, Man City apart (who are out of form) haven't played anyone but bottom sides in the last few months.
This weekend against the top side is a big test for them. A game they were lucky to win last time out.

The commentator and pundits on Sky last night were going way OTT about Casimero missing one game.
It's as if they feel that Man Utd are contenders to win the Premier League whereas in reality they are just trying to get into Europe, either for the Champions League or the Europa Cup.

I only watched the second half but whereas the commentators kept going on about Man Utd being in the ascendency I thought Palace were playing quite well (despite both teams giving the ball away a lot) and but for De Gea might have scored before the Olise special.

Utd were pretty poor in the second half. The game was pretty scrappy from the get-go.

I agree we're still about top 4 than a title, most Utd fans think the same. We've basically been on an 'Xmas period' type of fixture list since the end of the WC. It's inevitable that fatigue is going to catch up. Utd (and Arsenal) do not really have the squad compared to the likes of City. Any injuries to key players and its game over!

Who does Utd have up font at the min?

Rashford (getting goals), Martial (always injured)

Sancho, Anthony, Weghorst...the jury is out

Then it's teenagers

Dalot was considered a big miss but AWB has come on leaps and bounds. Anyone that tries to run at him (e.g. Martinelli) is not going to enjoy the game. Pass it around him and it's a different matter.
