Everyone saying Moore won’t be here next season? Pince says he doesn’t give a monkeys what’s gone on before. If he comes in and plays well ince will want to keep him. If Moore is realistic in his wage demands. I can very much see him being here next season.

It’s possible I suppose. Have Sarr, Holmes, Yiadom and McIntyre under long contracts. Mbengue hopefully to follow. Abbey looks half decent

Don’t think we need him tbh

I think we do in the short-term, just until we get safe (providing that happens), then we can look to give some more minutes to the likes of Mbengue/Abbey coming through potentially as well. I still think he's better than Sarr as well. I don't think we will keep him though either.

We will still be using Joao and Meite who won't be here (as it stands) next season and yes, we should still continue to do so until we get safe (again, if), even if Joao hasn't been firing at all cylinders. They are still useful players for us and good enough at this level and can prove to be the difference.

Dann will be gone in the summer. Yiadom isn’t a cb. Leaves us with Sarr Holmes tmac Mbengue. Tmac isn’t kicking on as we all thought he would and mbengue is still very raw. I just think it’s very naive to think Moore is done and dusted here. And people who don’t want him here should be prepared he might.

If, say he would accept 10k a week it’s getting 25k off the wage bill, and there won’t be many better cb’s we could get through the door for 10k pw if he produces the form that we know he has in his locker. I’ve never been on board with the Moore hate. And there are always two sides to every story.

Don’t mind whether he is here or not tbh, based solely on whether he improves the team

Guess there’s a chance that no one else wants him and he hangs around to train and gets offered a deal or something. Don’t imagine other clubs will be falling over themselves for his services

I'm glad Allan Russell isn't anywhere near Reading FC. What a clueless caretaker saying we should have had a red card and it wasn't a penalty. What an arrogant oxf*rd loonatic.

Anyway who cares we got the point that performance deserved.

On his day he is better than all our current CB's, do i want him to stay? Hell no, if he can come in and do a job and help us over the line to the magic number then at least he can leave the club and himself in a better place than a year ago!! and with his head held high.

Blew his big chance to impress and stake a claim for the job full time. Sounds like those grapes are sour.

Eh, thought at the time it was a red card, still do and the penalty was soft.

Still sour grapes though.

If the wage package was right for us I'd happily keep Moore if he wanted to stay. We need some experience in defence and he brings that in abundance.

It wasn't a red Holmes committed a foul far too far from our goal, there was likely 1-2 of our players covering and wasn't a clear goalscoring opportunity. If that happened against us I wouldn't have complained at just a yellow card.

Just seen the highlights, my take on the goals, can`t blame Sarr, he was jumping from a standing position, the other guy had a running jump, and for me the penalty was not soft, NGW had his back leg taken away.

I hate singling players out, especially after a good result and team performance but João was absolutely dire tonight. Really wasn't at it and looked totally disinterested again. Would happily sell him if it means Carroll and Mbengue stay until the end of the season

100% with this, i know he has experience and can turn a game on its head, but that's when his head is in the right place!! he clearly doesn't want to be here anymore so offload, free up a squad spot and let Kelvin.Ehib have a chance. I can guarantee he would have given 100% this evening and given there backline a much tougher test than they got from Joao.

Away from home, against one of the favorites for promotion, having gone a goal down.......I will take that point every day of the week thank you very much!

For the last 30 minutes we played some good football and were clearly on top, and fully deserved the point.

Elm Park Kid It is looking like this is going to be one of our rare uneventful seasons. Enough individual quality to overpower the poorer sides, not playing well enough as a team to beat the better ones. Just got to hope that we see a general improvement towards the end of the season and we can keep the players that matter in the summer.

We are outside the play offs on goal difference. Everything to play for.

Unless he scores he generally is pretty crap. Doesn’t do much for the team and his hold up play is embarrassingly poor for a big lad.
