Hendo Rashford is certainly in a rich vein of scoring form.

Seems to be back to the player he was a couple of years ago, which can only be a good thing for England going forward.

He sure is doing well however I'm not sure many international teams would give him as free a run on goal as Leicester did yesterday (twice).

South Coast Royal Lol@ Eamon Holmes this morning for saying that Carroll should be arrested for that tackle on Eriksen.
Short memory or what?
Surely he saw Keane and Scholes play and Haaland senior might have something to add to the conversation.

Of the current lot Fred and McTominay are far from being angels as well as Casemiro and Shaw.

Or Gary Neville's disgusting attempt at breaking Reyes's ankle.

Quite enjoying Man Utd fans genuinely trying to claim that 5 time European Cup winner Casemiro is only now a great player. Its his move to Man Utd and taking part in the Europa League that has really elevated him to greatness!

It is a bit odd, he has always been great and I was bemused by a lot of pundits claiming that he was only good because he was playing in a good RM side and wouldn't be the same player in England.

The guy is absolute class.

It's a real insight into why people elsewhere moan about the British media (and fans) hype when it comes to football here. The bloke is one of the best midfielders of his generation and has won the CL 5 times in recent years in arguably the best side in football in those years, but his move to a team who struggle to win things now and are playing in the Europa League apparently means he has elevated himself and found a new gear!

It's embarrassing to listen to.

You look at how Spanish football has dominated European competitions for years then hear your Robbie Savages shout 'this is why it's the best league in the world!' as he commentates on Leicester beating some Latvian team in the Conference League.

Agreed.
He wasn't exactly cheap for a 30 year old.

Should have cost them more. They were desperate for a DM, especially after their start to the season. Madrid could've squeezed another 5-10 Million out of them but the player wanted the payday (and who can blame him).

United fans seem to have remembered they want the Glazers out. Weird timing.

Conservative_dad 2-2 in the end. Fred is a genuine dogshit footballer

Horrendous performance. Fatigue, injuries and suspensions all catching up

Perhaps people (some pundits, some fans , some reporters) will now stop talking about them as title contenders which IMHO they are not until they spend even more trillions on players.

are you still in the top half?

I never thought I would say it but I am missing Brobot- he should be posting in this topic.

Reuters reporting that negotiations are now continuing exclusively with the Qatari bid.

Also a company called Nine Two UK Holdings Ltd has been set up and registered in the UK today, and Jassim is listed as a director.

€105M - Pogba
€95M - Antony
€87M - Maguire
€85M - Sancho
€84.7M - Lukaku
€75M - Di Maria
€70.7M - Casemiro
€65M - Fernandes
€64M - Mount
€60M - Martial

Some staggering waste in there

Oof, that's some eye wateringly bad business mixed in there, certainly the top 6 at any rate.

Talking of bad business, qualifying for the CL triggered a clause in Harry Maguire's contract that meant he gets a 20% pay rise - so suddenly he's that much harder to sell elsewhere.

putting Mount aside, I would say only 2 of the other 9 have been a success (Fernandes & Casemiro)

incl signing on fees, agents fees, wages etc that is an absolutely shocking waste of money

Di Maria did quite well didn’t he? Not saying value at that price, but thought he was supposed to have done alright.

....to get out after only a year.

He started ok but his form tanked in Otober and then he got injured.

Wikipedia At the season's end, Di María was judged byThe Daily Telegraph to be the worst signing of the season

End of DDG

A great keeper, always remember that game against arsenal where he made something stupid like 14 or 15 world class saves
