Winston Biscuit So had Pisa won the Serie B play off final last year (as they had a clause to buy Puscas) we may well have not got this points deduction?
Quite possibly yes.

Zammogenome That's a terrific letter from Bowen, very open and honest.
^ this. Certainly felt more positive after reading it. Back the boys now innit.

Elm Park Kid Having read Bowen's statement - I do think the EFL need to reconsider the rules involved with the transfer embargo. Not being able to pick up a youngster for a few hundred K, but being able to offer Andy Carroll a contract is pretty ridiculous. There needs to be a bit more flexibility.

Norfolk Royal Or if we sold more hot dogs? Or if the stay away fans had not stayed away?
Bowen's statement makes it quite clear that not being able to shift players was the reason.

Lose track with the timelines but this was agreed before Bowen came back wasn’t it? Hence ince calling it a historical thing I guess
Would be interesting to know if we ever did have the opportunity to sell someone and turned it down mind you. Was very little noise on tbe transfer window about anyone

From Despair To Where? Thing is, at the start of the season, most people would have put Joao down as the man to do the business in front of goal. I can understand the club's unwillingness to sell him considering we'd have been replacing him with Conor Wickham. We did our best to shift Puscas. Of the other big 3, Moore, Meite and Ejaria, they've all been permacrocks.
Must say, there seems to be a bit of a dig at the likes of Derby in the EFL statement with the "We'd like to thank Reading for being honest and transparent" line.

Millsy Silly Q but will ask it anyway.
Reading the blurb on the website it seems like we have behaved very well indeed and there was literally nothing else we could have done, yet we're still hit with 6points.
So why did we bother at all as soon as it became clear we'd never manage it? Would it be more than 6 if we hadn't tried? Or was it 6+/- a further 6?
