NathStPaul We aren't winning this game based upon what I have seen from both clubs in the last few weeks.

The reason we are in the mess we are is because of complete apathy on all sides. Supporters, management, owner, Director of Football. Everything. If the club as a whole doesn't wake up right now we are in League 1 next season and I cannot see us getting out of it for years if we do. We lose Friday we go down imo, simple as that.

Agreed on this, we need to continue the decent home record. 7 points is realistic against Brum, Burnley, Luton and Wigan at home in my opinion. Less than that and it's curtains for us.

I'm going to confidently predict that if we go down we'll be promoted within 5 seasons. Probably 3.

I'd rather not have to bet on anything like that and just stay in this league

South Coast Royal Ince, as expected, saying that the players will fight etc., normal manager speak and he even threw in the siege mentality bit for good measure.

Never mind the fighting Paul, just get them to play a bit of passing football for a change and create more than just our normal one or two chances per game to at least give us opportunities to win the game.

Assuming that Tom Ince isn't available I reckon he will go with Azeez from the off.

More to the point give them a bit of a chance with decent forward options. If they see opportunities being made it will help the positivity mindset and that siege mentality.

Think he will be positive for once v Brum but more careful away from home. Think it's probably worth taking chances v Burnley too as what do you have to lose, everyone sees it as a nailed on away win anyway.

100% this, the Burnley game is a free hit!! may as well go gung ho and see what happens. Play for a point and we all know what'll happen there lol.

Burnley should be up by then, and as long as it's not a game that'll clinch the title if they win, the motivation levels might drop a degree.

Ideally I think Wigan would come here six points adrift, with two games left and a worse goal difference, knowing it's effectively all over, and it'll be a case of putting them out of their misery.

I’m going to the last 7 games but purely based on our current form and injuries I am only expecting us to get a couple of draws.

However, I have witnessed several end of season relegation scraps over the years and sometimes you get some unexpected results. I believe in fate so what will be will be. I am hoping for more of the 2-1 away win at Sheff Utd type of outcome and I’ll be giving my support no matter what.

Feels like the biggest game since Barnsley away last season, we drew that with a very late goal and think it gave us the momentum to stay up.

With the 4 games following tomorrow this feels massive and a must win.

Not completely optimistic if I'm honest, if we had just a few out I'd back us to stay up, but we have double figures out with nearly all season ending, and with the busy schedule we will undoubtedly pick up more injuries and there's no one left.

Well I’ve come down for this one & the last one I went to was the Blackpool win, the last time we actually won a game. So hopefully my
Presence will make all the difference!

It’ll also be nice going to a game where there’s something riding on it, unlike the pointless crap we’ve had to witness for the last few months.

Ince’s comment about playing positive football really riled me. He’s been pissing about with the side for several months now and we should’ve been safe bearing in mind our position earlier on in the season

And we all know how that’s likely to work out! Wigan at home is ALWAYS one god awful struggle to watch esp. as it nearly always involves two teams staring at relegation. Sadly Reading do not always do particularly well in this fixture and have been known to hand more than one utterly lame performance (remember the 0-3 utter embarrassment from the last PL season?) really MUST avoid the “only have to turn up” mindset entering both the player and supporter psyche.

Massive game and nothing short of a must win for us today, hopefully lightning can strike twice in separate seasons for us by claiming back-to-back wins against Birmingham and Preston, that would put us in a great position again.

I can imagine it will be tense today, but now we've had the points off and the messages from the club and players, then we need to pull together and get the win today. Unfortunately, this fixture in recent history isn't where we have a great deal of joy.

Tbf there’s a fair chance we could lose every game until Wigan and hudders — and then win those 2 and we’d stay up

So def not a must win but 3 points would be lovely

For some reason in the entire history of football this is always a terrible game. I can only ever remember beating them once when the game was on a Sunday as they were in Europe after winning the league cup. 1-0 with Noel Hunt scoring. You could make a case a match between the two worst owners in the Championship.

Talking about us on Talksport.....Matt Holland and Adrian Durham really doesn't like us does he. Spouting all kinds of inaccuracies as if we are Derby.

The clue is TalkSport, they do nothing but spout ******* so equally disinformed melons will ring in and try to make a debate of things.

Can’t criticise Incey for being negative today!
