"West Bromwich Albion fans' group Action for Albion will stage a protest against owner Guochuan Lai at Monday's Championship home game against QPR.

Fellow supporters are being encouraged to join them in delaying their entry and attendance at The Hawthorns until 12 minutes into the match.

The group argue that figure represents the sum of millions that has been taken out in loans around the club.

We have to act. We have no choice," said protest organiser Ali Jones.

"We had an emergency meeting of the committee and needed something quick and easy.

"People recognise this ownership model is ruining the football club. We have to find a way to show West Brom are in serious trouble. It is that stark."

The £12m figure which the protest is attempting to symbolise includes a £3.7m loan to former owner Jeremy Peace in 2014, that was inherited by Lai that was subject to interest, and is now the subject of legal action.

In addition, Lai borrowed £4.95m and has missed numerous deadlines to repay despite assurances.

It has also been revealed West Brom borrowed £2m from Warmfront Holdings with no explanation why, with the club's latest accounts revealing it was unpaid six months after its due date and was attracting interest of 5% per month.

Further protests are planned before the final home game of the season against Norwich on 29 April.

West Brom's defeat at Rotherham on Friday leaves them 10th in the Championship, five points off the play-off places.

After this season they will not receive parachute payments. In December, the club confirmed it had received a £20m loan from MSD Holdings.

In accounts released this week, it was revealed West Brom are paying 9.75% interest on the loan, in addition to the SONIA [Sterling overnight index average] rate, which takes it to a total of almost 14%.

So they are going to be in deep doo doo next season then......

Well, we desperately need them to beat QPR.

Huddersfield looking pretty much safe. Thanks Dai, we are stuck with a one dimensional dinosaur and the bloke who would have kept us up without a shadow of a doubt, even with a 6point deduction, is gonna be part of hammering some of the nails in our coffin. No doubt when we are relegated anothe shit manager or noone we heard of will be appointed and more misery heaped on us.

I’d rather be in the national league than have Colin as manager

Huddersfield players have been stealing a living until recently though haven’t they

That's not entirely true, we were doing an exceedingly good job of looking shit before he took over
Whether it has improved may be debatable

Our squad isn’t good. He may have managed to keep us up though, probably fairly comfortably

He gets the basics right clearly and knows how to win games. Never seems to do anything remarkable but players play better for him. Expect a great man manager

It`s a bloody travesty Colin has never been on our radar in the last 10 years of mostly relegation scraps while relying on a conveyor belt of failures.
It`s not fecking rocket science is it?

The only time we were really in a position to hire him was when we sacked Pauno last season, for which we didn't need him and we survived. We were never going to get him this season, he's obviously been in a job since February and we were doing ok at that time.

But that's when the talk started. He said on radio he would like the job if approached and that he has always liked us as a club. Ince only winning 3 in 14 should have set alarm bells off last season but fans were drunk on just staying up and saying what a great job Ince did. But did he or were we lucky. I'm choosing the latter.

Huddersfield fans were believing their squad wasn't good either. Interesting that when we played it on the ground as we did last Friday, and scored which is Joaos strength, yet all game it was hoof hoof hoof. Ince has made us believe this team is crap....we have seen in glimmers what it can do.....

So what your saying is, you would rather have someone like Ince, drop 3 leagues, probably administration and winding up orders, club restarting from scratch 9tiers below and a state of chaos.....rather than Neil Warnock being manager?

It would have been incredibly harsh to sack Ince at the time Warnock was available considering he was doing his remit with us and more.

Warnock was a no brainer. He's not everyone's cup of tea but he keeps teams in the championship.
