Nice clip of Darren Moore's post-match team talk, with Barry Bannan given him his props. https://twitter.com/mrdanwalker/status/ ... Tj-UA&s=19

That's been a Wolves chant about WBA for years up here in the Midlands. Albion fans retort with "always sh1t on the old gold and black"

Always loved it as a chant. Wigan can have some next season.

There's another four point deduction suspended for next season too. We may not have to worry that much about Wigan next season.

Feel they'll trigger that one too.

Perhaps the FL should just double the previous point fine every time Wigan fail to pay players on time. Three times next season would see them lose 4 then 8 and then 16!

Whoever it is, you'd imagine the other team will be right up there again next season as they've tended to be for the few seasons they've been in the division now. Same with Peterborough and Bolton, will likely be in the mix next season as well.

Based on the few play offs games I've seen from these clubs at the top end of the table, not a great deal for us to fear next season and certainly no reason why we can't be in with these teams battling for a return at the first attempt, providing our recruitment over the summer is good.

The fact that Barnsley finished 11 points below us last season and have made the playoff final gives me a lot of hope for next season.

Bolton reminded me of our “possession based” football at its worst. So dry.

I had to watch it with no commentary which made it 10x worse.

Could take a lot for Peterborough to recover from that and if Wednesday lose the final after such a comeback, it could be a tough pill too.

May impact both next season.

Sheffield Wednesday have been absolutely worlds apart from the rest of L1 this season. Similarly to Notts County in the NL, it would be unjust of they didn't go up. If they don't go up, and they keep Moore, I expect them to win the title next season.

Barnsley have been completely transformed under Michael Duff. They are a different club and team this season and were, apart from Wednesday, the best team I saw at Cheltenham. Don't take too much comfort from how dire they were in their relegation season.

Peterborough are....inconsistent. The play-off games were their season in a microcosm. Brilliant one minute, rabbit in the headlights the next. They'll be the ones to suffer next season if they don't go up I think.

Possibly, although I'm still expecting both to be in the mix next season. I'm not sure if Peterborough will actually make the top 6, but I'm not expecting them to drop to mid table, will still be in with a few other clubs battling around and could finish in there.

I suppose it will all come down to how some clubs look come the end of the transfer window. If they lose a couple of decent players, then it might look different for them. But you could say that about anyone.
