There’s obvs been something happening with Wilder as well as a number of other candidates

Do wonder if there is still some degree of unannounced restriction potentially causing a bit of uncertainty

Anyway I’m not in Twitter meltdown mode as I’m sure there’s a perfectly good reason but proper bored of waiting now

If we had a manager there'd be even less to talk about the twaterrati would just be banging on about a statement from Dai and where's our first signing tbf.

There can't be any delay because of the embargo, as it ends June 30th. It's the same as if we sign a player today - they don't officially become ours until July 1st, so it would be the same with the manager.

We're all speculating of course, but maybe this injection of £6m from Dai gets the new manager and his backroom staff over the line, and there's money promised to Wilder for players. If so, an announcement can't be far away.

Wasn't really sure about them as a reliable source but it seems to be getting backed up now.

Pete O'Rourke from footyinsider is former Sky Sports. Always used to have connections at Reading and is one of the better journos out there for us.

Others like Wayne Veysey from there are very hit and miss.

Yep, Ian spot on again. Wilder was all set to sign, but had a quick mooch on Twitter and jumped when he saw that goatfelcher1871 said that the club was a basketcase.

Someone on Twitter called Andrew Waring has posted WIlder deal was agreed by both parties with contracts ready to be signed before Bowen went off, but then Pang tried to appoint someone else this week, which has caused massive internal disagreements.

Just reiterating the tweet, I have no idea who this guy is....

If that is true, and it's a big IF as I always take twitter with the biggest pinch of salt available, then that is just absolutely ridiculous on all levels.

If that's true (and would suggest there's no smoke without a fire) then there is no club left to support and the sooner this current ownership regime go the better for everyone. Trouble is, these days, you can be better off with some of the devils you already know.

Anyone got a rich uncle in Saudi?
