YorkshireRoyal99 That is also fact though. We've been punished by the EFL due to our spending, KSV Roselare spent around £10m in the Belgium 2nd division and were dissolved due to financial difficulties and Beijing Renhe also spent heavily and Dai Yongge himself got frustrated at the lack of success in the team. Short-term mentality hoping for instant success and it's failed at all 3 of his clubs.

From Despair To Where? Apologies if the facts don't fit your agenda.
Didn't have you down as one of the prime resident bed wetters. The situation at Rehne bears very little resemblance to us.

Our current issues revolve around a failure to stick to regulatory guidelines. Yes, he's made serious errors of judgement and yes, if those guidelines were not there then maybe the situation would be similar but it's still a wild leap and from what I can see is nowhere near as serious as us having to flog players to pay the taxman or securing a £20m loan against future earnings like we did 10 years ago.
Personally I think this should lead onto a redefining of FFP rules, similar to the licencing situation in Italy where evert club is subject to analysis of its spending and has to provide proof of funding to compete.

Stranded A couple of Twitterists now claiming to have been told that Bowen has resigned. Large pinch of salt naturally until confirmed.

Pretty sure there's plenty on Twitter just stirring shit up though.

morganb Twitter is just one big In-The-Know competition.
Person One says something to seem in the know.
Then Person Two either backs Person One or gambles on going against them to try to look more in the know if Person One is proved wrong.
If the direction you went is wrong then shh! Don't draw attention to it.
However if the direction you went is right then WINNER! Quote that Tweet forever after.
