And, no, he is not a relation of Les, Anton, Rio and Kane before anyone asks! Seem to recall he (and Joe Grant) played representative games for the FA in the Falklands when he was last at Bracknell so his career has taken him about a bit!

Think he's rejoined from Harrow Borough.

Royals and Racers Newbury FC ( ex Hellenic ) have been put in TV league Div 1 - however they are homeless and are looking to ground share with someone.

...strong indications from their own twitter a/c that they will be back @ Faraday Rd.

6 PSFs scheduled to date - with the last one arranged for Wed 9th Aug 'Home' v Compton...
League (TVL-1) not due to start til Sept.

Reading Royals Futsal team who have won promotion to the Top Tier will now play under the name of Maidenhead United. Not sure where they will be playing their matches but i understand a purpose built facility will be made for them. Games will be televised live on BT Sports (TNT) for the coming season.

Why the name change? Have they simply moved location?

Think its a combination of funding, playing under a better name but more importantly secure the future with the promise of far superior facilities.

Is there anything left to move back to? I thought it was all demolished.

Think it's still there, right at the end of Faraday Road near the Newbury Weekly News office and the Subaru place. No idea what state it's in or whether anyone's played there in recent memory though.

It looks completely demolished on google maps. The club house burned down, and the stands have gone.

The ground is still there though, not sure how good it needs to be for TVD1 but is at least fenced off which maybe enough at that level?

If he goes for 40m as reported, then they will be due approx 8m from Wolves. That will keep Maidenhead going for many years.

Perhaps they could go professional for a year or two and see where that takes them?

Not sure they will go professional until they sort the stadium situation. Certainly very exciting times ahead, have a bit of a vested interest in it too due to my son hopefully playing for them in a couple of years all being well and going to plan.

They are old pictures.

The stand has gone, and the clubhouse buurned down

All that appears to be left is a field with tarmac around it.

Would Maidenhead really need to move with multiple millions? Could help them do the ground up enough?

What happened to Windsor FC? reported deadline of June 30th to find a ground but no news. It would only be stubbornness on Mr Stotts behalf to bother with it all though!

Windsor and Eton FC aiming for 1000 fans at glorified park football is pretty ambitious for a town that's drifted away from Stag Meadow. Free entry for the season sounds good but then a lot of clubs that that level don't charge.
