Jagermesiter1871 Think the home is brilliant, the away not so much mainly because the collar looks awful.
Interested what the back of the home will be like - will it have more Reading icons on? Also wonder what will be on left sleeve.
If you actually like Reading, unlike Sutekh, not sure why you wouldn't like it.
I don't dislike Reading, it's a perfectly decent modern town with everything you could want in terms of shopping and eating out, but like most modern towns it lacks character (thanks to the dreadful town planning and architectural builds ans rebuilds of the 50s, 60s and 70s) and is hardly a York, Cambridge or Oxford packed with famous old architecture.
The shirt idea is ok but the town just doesn't have the iconic skyline or distinctive buildings necessary to make it look anything other than naff and might make the club a bit of a laughing stock among other clubs supporters for being pretentious.
From what I can make out the "images" used are Caversham Bridge the Town Hall, that weird pointy office block near the station, the Tilehurst water tower, the Sikh temple thing down the Oxford Road, what might be the prison? and St Lawrence's church in the town, so hardly a distinctive collection of memorable buildings. I'd be surprised if anyone is even able to name all of them.
