We're also believed to have picked him up on a free / for very little + a hefty sell-on clause. To which I'd be surprised if at least half the Championship wouldn't be more than prepared to match.

A lot of the team look fine. They just don't have any real tactics still.

Bouzanis and Andresson look ok.
Abrefa and Yiadom good.
Carson promising.
Abbey and Dorsett look ok.
Senga and Craig composed and skillful.
Savage, Knibbs, Camara, Ehibhatiomhan and Smith (rip injury) quality. We know Wing is good at this level.

There's easily a squad of players capable of at least midtable. Just a few weaknesses, but lots of room for growing into a team too good for L1 over a season or three.

Bowen and co have done a really good job selling the project and managing recruitment.

Our undoing will be Dai and the behind the scenes bullshit. If Selles is any good and the players can ignore all the background stuff we should have a good season. They probably can't, you'd have superhuman mental strength and too many of our squad are weak in that aspect. But it won’t be the squad that leads to a bad season. It will be the absolute toxic failure ridden atmosphere Dai has created behind the scenes that ruins us.
