The thing is that you could probably pick up 25% of the club for about 6-7m. That's should be more than enough to get through the rest of the season with one of the largest budgets. If we go back up then you're a club one good season away from the PL and that 25% stake being worth a minimum of 30-40m. It's a reasonable risk for investors looking to spread their efforts across multiple teams /leagues. But they're also going to end any last remaining idea of the 'Reading way', ticket prices probably go up, every possible cost is cut. And they won't hesitate to out us into administration of we become a bad investment.
