Pepe the Horseman Dai is a man of his word.

I can actually see IR heaping praise on Dai for this, LOL.

IR hated Dai before it was fashionable.

Appears to be confirmed, club can trade again (well at least until the next HMRC payment becomes due)

Stranded Yep, has been paid by the looks of it. So Savage and Wing must surely now be registered for the weekend and we should be able to resurrect any deals we have in the wings. Obviously every chance we'll be back in embargo territory before the window closes unless new investment comes in.

Not massively surprised that this has been sorted before the party at the Turtle tonight.

But this months bill will be much lower as based solely on this season's wages, as Moore, Joao and co are out of the way completely now

Big test this month, if we end up back im embargo we're basically totally oxf*rd until investment. If not we might be able to limp on badly for a while longer without it.

What's the position with us not being able to pay a transfer fee for three windows? Is that gone as well?

No that will remain

Doesn’t matter that much if we are under embargo until Jan if we get some signings through quickly now tbh

Would be far from surprised if Dai chooses not to pay hmrc again next month and prioritise wages etc if needs be

Surely PAYE tax should be greatly reduced now. Therefore, July’s payment due in August shouldn’t be such a burden. Although Stranded mentioned that the likes of Moore were still being paid in July, but hopefully that wasn’t the case.

If we are still under embargo for 3 windows then why have we been removed completely from the EFL embargo page?

Suspect the end of June bill (for payment in July) might not have just been PAYE (which will have related to the last, and large, June payroll) but also the VAT on season ticket sales up to 30 June as well.

Therefore, August payment (for July) should be much lower as a result. Next larger one will be October when quarterly VAT likely to be needed and would cover VAT on any post-30 June season ticket sales.
