Brogue
Crowbar6753 Interested to see the attendance this evening, nearly 14,000 against Peterbrough was pretty decent in my view. We're now on two straight losses (League) and an evening game against one of the smaller clubs in the league.

Anything over 11,000 would be a decent turnout given the circus that is "Reading FC' at present. We really need a win as Stevenage are up next and they are a very dangerous team playing well at the moment.

If the jazz cafe is anything to go by. It’s going to be empty. An Hour till kick off and walked up to an empty bar and got a seat straight away

I'll say 8,000 with 600 Cheltenham fans

It looks like we now have a Saturday team and a midweek team.

If we win tonight let the Selles love in commence. None of the dropped players can complain. Can the youngsters handle expectation?

Wow. Brave move. Gonna look daft if it doesn't work. Think it's a little too drastic but fair oxf*rd if it works

Don't think anyone can complain if it doesn't work, as it's pretty much what everyone was calling for. Very brave, shows he does have some balls at least. Really hope it pays off.

To be honest even if we don't win tonight Selles has won brownie points with me for showing he won't tolerate poor performances and is prepared to give youngsters a go. I think Cheltenham will probably have expected us to play a similar team to Saturday too so maybe this will change their game plan.

I'd imagine Carroll may not be able to do 2 games in a week, Holmes and NGW dropped completely?

I mean, anyone who wasn’t can. And anyone who didn’t expect him to actually do it. Or hypocrites.

Wow I pretty much called it, 7 changes with the only difference being Bindon instead of Dean who probably still isn't fully fit. I hoped Selles would do it didn't actually expect him to do it though, I expected him to make 3 or 4 changes but not 7. Fair play he needed to be ruthless and he was, really hope his bravery and faith in these players is rewarded. I'll be watching this one on a stream pretty excited now after seeing the team, come on boys up the ding!!!

EDIT: Also called Abbey as a future captain, gladly its happened much sooner than expected, Abbey deserves he's a smart lad who is Reading through and through, best of luck to him and the lads tonight. URZZZZZ

Surprised NGW isn't on the bench as at least he won us a penalty at Port Vale

Bit short of attacking options on the bench. Where does Tuma play?

Wing I think, rapid. Didn't play for most of last year as was focusing on his A levels (Deputy Headboy at Eton I think!)

Tuma is a striker/attacking midfielder and I believe he's quick.

In 2019 (when he was 14) he ran the 100 metres in 11.23 seconds, coming third.

None of the team from Saturday with the possible exception of NGW can complain about that team selection.
Got some balls has Ruben.
How does Mbegue start when we got an extra sub on saturday due to a concussion substitution? Thought it was three games minimum.
