Yep fair play. Any ideas on a replacement for Carroll? Personally, I’d love Stansfield but I fully expect him to go to the championship. I’m almost inclined to say we should sign Jayden Wareham and give him a chance in the first team. I think he must know Elliott well and Selles is keen on giving the youngsters a chance.
Vic called it first didn’t he?
Vic refused to name names, I did the hard work by copy and pasting some comments from twitter.

Pepe the HorsemanWebster750 NGW had a falling out with Toby Loveland following the game at Port Vale and Sellés felt disrespected on his behalf. Either gone or with the U21's in PL2 for a good while. Would hope it can be resolved.
Lol, I thought Toby Loveland was your nickname for Selles. Who actually is he?!

Clyde1998blythspartan Four players have been transfer listed, as advised by a poster yesterday.
https://twitter.com/RFCLatest/status/16 ... 56/photo/1
- Bouzanis: I'm not surprised. Upon signing Button there isn't much point in us keeping him: CBC will be our cup keeper. I can't imagine we'll notice if Bouzanis stays or goes; I cannot envisage a situation where Bouzanis will play for us again.
- Holmes: Appears to have been supplanted by Bindon and Abbey, who both look much more assured defensively, whilst Dean and McIntyre are probably ahead of him in the pecking order. Hasn't really progressed since being in the first team.
- NGW: The only one of the four I'd be disappointed to lose. Can be defensively suspect at times, but is decent going forward; I maintain he could be more effective as a left-midfielder. We'd need another LB if he goes.
- Carroll: We've never really played well with Carroll in the side; he doesn't really fit with the style of play Selles wants to play. We'll need another striker should he leave, but getting a L1-level hungry striker who fits with Selles' system shouldn't be the hardest thing in the world.

Hound Slightly bizarre if Ovie ends up being the only remaining first Teamer from last year
Noted he’d posted something on instagram suggesting he is back fit

Bouzanis was an utterly pointless signing in the first place so would be happy to see him move on
Carroll just doesn't fit in with the style of play and despite being a handful for defenders the club just fall into stupid aimless hoofball when he's on the pitch
Holmes never rated him him so another I'd happily drive to his next club asap
NGW Can't defend so not sure why he gets a role as a left back when he's looks much better as a winger. Wouldn't really want to see him leave but the club have other wide left players and certainly better left "wing" backs.
Can't see getting much money for any of them and don't think there'd be much saving on wages either. The club already need another striker so losing Carroll would probably cause the biggest issue despite the clueless management of his game time.

Yep whatevs
Having a bit of to and fro with those Derby fans is our Daz. Does suggest a lot is to do with raising funds. Knowing our financial management we’ve suddenly realised we need a fire sale to pay the next tax bill
He does say they are on very big wages which I highly doubt though

If he means big for L1, very plausible. Holmes could be 6-8k, NGW similar, same for Carroll, Yiadom potentially upwards of 12k depending on when he last signed.
Ejaria must be top earner though. So continuing the tradition of it being an excessive amount for a waster that we've had for almost a decade.

Ejaria will be top earner I’m sure
Just based on other things I’ve seen etc - there were apparently relegation clauses in recent contracts (up to 50%). Only TMc signed before last seasons sanctions otherwise when we were still paying the likes of your mate Moore and Meite - so can’t see how Yiadom, Holmes and Carroll can be on more than about 6. I’d be amazed if NGW was anything other than very cheap - free from Wimbledon - prob on about 2
Yes prob big for L1 but not massive

Yeah, no idea on relegation clauses, and we're shambolic, so was hoping for some but not confident of a lot.
When was our top earner last good? Ejaria, Moore - was there anyone between him and Pogrebnyak?

No idea - though tbf think Moore was quite good the season he signed that contract. Not 35k pw good but still our best player I think iirc

Stranded In terms of wage bill - in L1 last year Weds were top payers with an estimated wage bill of around 170k pw, which based on a 25 man squad is an average of 6.8k pw per player.
With the top earner still here, I would say this is roughly where our wage bill for players sits - we are probably hoping to get it down to around 100 to 120k pw. At the moment, I would put our monthly wage bill for around 700k for players and maybe 800 to 850k for all staff - so a 125% payment into a designated account is probably 1m - we could get that for Holmes alone, if we are lucky.
Is Capology accurate?
Capology relies on a network of insiders directly involved in contract negotiations as well as publications around the world. When these are still not sufficient, Capology's algorithms provide a best estimate

doubt its anywhere near that to be honest. this place recks our wage bill is 70k per week, no idea who they are, but it seems a lot more realistic
