AthleticoSpizz Yeah (re. Scunny) the Buxton v Scunny participants have recently been told that they must re-run the entire game (that was abandoned in the 96th minute) last week.

It rained, the ref abandoned, it stopped raining, and the pitch was playable 15 minutes later ftr
Both managers bemused by the total lack of consultation/communication from the ref. (Buxton were a goal to the good when the game was binned off)

P the R what was the right decision?

League rules would state what should happen here, but ultimately the blame lays entirely with the referee. What on earth was he thinking. He had a whole host of options available to him. I had a situation many years ago in a high profile game. Score was 2:1 and the pitch was freezing over, game moved into injury time. Pitch was becoming totally unplayable and dangerous to everyone.

Now admittedly this was before the day that added time had to be disclosed, but i just finished the game early, reset the watch, and told all and sundry time had been played and game over. I might of finished a little early ;-) but no one knew. Ref could of done similar, as a team they could of foreseen what was coming and reduced added on time, or just pause the game, let the weather pass, and get back out there. So in summary, referee done the league and both teams no favours there whatsoever.

That”s a massive game for Reading if (big IF) they can get past Winch.
Biggie for Didcot too.

I hope Reading City do it but I highly doubt they'll have enough.

Here is Winchester's cry baby manager moaning about Reading City's tactics.

thanx NSP, it was all rather fun, he was right tho’ our #7 (Lazarczuk?) was pretty potent with his throw-ins…..probably further than most peoples kicks.

Horsham were far superior to Marlow and the league higher really showed i thought. Horsham even scored Marlow’s goal. Just over 250 in attendance with around 30-40 from Horsham.
I went bang on full time and there was trouble after the game. There is a video around that shows fighting between the Horsham goalkeeper and presumably Marlow fans behind the goal- the keeper jumped the fence at FT.

Bracknell's away form this season is atrocious, managed just 1 point from 12 available. Such a change after 2 seasons where they barely dropped any points at all on the road !

Bad day at the office for Brackley
Just have this nagging feeling they're not big enough or tough enough for this division. Try to play neat football but out muscled again and again

Same avery season for Maidenhead, play load of games and they look utterly atrocious then suddenly they get a bit of form and win 3/4 games in a row before returning to another atrocious run. They survive despite being one of the few part time teams at the top Nat Lge level but eventually it'll catch up with them and they'll return to tier 6/step 2.

...popped along to York Rd - STEP01 is usually a bit rich for me and the prices are certainly pretty eye-watering but I don't begrudge handing over my money to local NL clubs. Att was 885.
Not too happy about the astronomical increase in parking-charges in the last couple of years though - will think carefully about where to park on my next visit.

As above 'Magpies' were pretty abject all evening - attacked only sporadically and looked really blunt where it mattered.
Badly missing that bit of 'X-factor' that someone like Josh Kelly used to bring them in recent times ... and Dave Tarpey before that ...... but he's (JK) toddled off to Solihull Moors and DT - in his mid-thirties now - is probably playing out his days at Hungerford.

'Dev' will need to find some magic ingredients from somewhere as this can be a pretty unforgiving division should you find yourself stuck at the wrong end. They have managed to scramble together enough form to just stay clear of grief in the past few seasons but their time may be running out ..... sincerely hope not. :(

To be fair 'Alty' weren't that much better and won it with a 'top corner' worldy early in the 2nd half, as the home defence dozed at a quickly taken free-kick. They certainly defended well not that Maidenhead carried much goal threat. Some late subs did promise possible reward for the home side but the visitors just dug-deeper and concentrated on keep-ball further up the pitch.
By some accounts Chesterfied the leaders, are quite similar, grinding out close wins but nonetheless doing it fairly consistently.

Remember watching tarpey live a few times when he had that mental season and scored something like 45 goals, he scored some bonkers goals

Then went pro with barnet I think and done his knee in his 2nd game, shame as he could have gone to have a good L2 career
