Think he's just referring to Kieren Maguire saying the club is worth about 20m.

It's an Asset of Community Value, meaning it can't be sold quickly or without warning. Kudos to STAR for applying and to RBC for granting it.

Great. That means it's value is even more limited separate to the club.

Not only is it harder and more timeconsuming to buy for anyone who wants to demolish it for the (contaminated) land, but you can bet they'd struggle to get planning permission to do anything different with it even if they did push a sale through.

Almost certainly easier sites to buy and develop.

I expect he still has contact with Howe. Be surprised if Dai sold for £20m atm but slightly encouraged by SJM bandying that figure

I stand to be corrected but didn't Sunderland go for about £25m? 20 sounds a fair deal.

Just had a listen, good to hear SJM's reassuring voice. He's convinced me to buy the club if I win big on the Euro Lottery. The jackpot is only £34m so I'll likely need a few more investors though.
