Sad news from Southern league team Hamworthy Utd - they are no more !!
The club have said they are hopeful of continuing just not at the highest level.

....can't have been easy for them schlepping across to Weymouth for 'home' games - evidently not ready for promotion off the field. Not sure why they couldn't have arranged a temporary share with Poole just across the harbour?
Will carry on/recuperate in the Dorset Senior League where their Reserves compete.

Some minor corrections and updates before the main Review later ......

....North Leigh v Leighton P'poned - visitors engaged in the Trophy as shown

Berks Co v Windsor was on Fri eve at Beaconsfield - County winning 6-3 - FullTime slow to pick up the update/change of venue.

Wantage get their first points of the season with a 3-1 win over Westfields

Epsom & Ewell likewise with a thumping 5-1 over CWU.

Bracknell edged past Hanwell in the Trophy 2-1 - hosts missed a pen in stoppage time.

A quick Google search - they have a Facebook Page from which I got the following - they play in the Reading Sunday League Prem but lots like they are a Slough team. There is a team photo on the FB page, you may recognise some "names".

...indeed are high fliers in the RDSFL Premier - possibly double-champs, at least certainly 'reigning' .... - I posted some info about them on NLM after the 2022 Tilehurst Trophy (Sunday) Final at the SCL ..... and saw them again last May when they fielded an even stronger line-up.

BAPCO formed quite recently by former RFC Youth player Sheldon Baptiste ....now in the first team squad at Brentford

(Squad) they can call upon plenty with senior Sat. League experience from quite high in the Pyramid ..... a smattering' of local Reading league 'notaries': who have turned out at STEP06 and above - way above in the case of much traveled Mitchell Parker, who was marauding about up front - alongside a few from Marlow FC & Hartley W. (Bell and Edwards - the latter recently turning out for Swindon)

UPDATE next round draw : (ties due 12th Nov)
FC Bapco H v East Christchurch
FC Hadjuk (New Milton) v Burghfield
Highgate Albion v SE Dons
BN Dons (Portslade) v Baiteze

Holders St Joseph's (Luton) host near neighbours Strafford Arms (Potters Bar)

I'm not sure if the announcement that Bracknell have agreed a 30 year lease to play at Sandhurst is good news.

It could just be a case of covering their backs, but there is the troubling implication that talks to return to Bracknell are going nowhere.

On the face of it it isn't good news. Hopefully they are going to keep the ground in Sandhurst as a hub for their academy.

The first team really need to come back to Bracknell Town Centre, being in Sandhurst is doing them no favours at all.

Guess the council there don't want the leisure centre redeveloped then, that was the last suggestion wasn't it? Seem to recall councils can be right pains in the arse when it comes to football clubs wanting to redevelop or move sites.

Bracknell will just become the latest in a long line of clubs who sell their ground for cash and then become out of town nomads before the money man goes and the club is done for then

Highgate albion are by far and away one of the top London Sunday league teams, won 4 trophies last season including the Barnet Sunday League which is the best in London, and won the London cup

Lost to SE Dons in the quarter final last season in the fa sunday cup

They are a very very good team, ice watched alot of them on youtube
