They've had a shocking start to the season and they look a poor side.

He'll be back at QPR when Ainsworth is sacked. It was a really poor move for both him and Rangers.

Lampard expresses an interest in the Rangers job.

I doubt even Celtic fans would wish that on them.

Thing is, they're already 7 points behind Celtic (and tactically light years behind) in a league where 2nd is failure, they've lost their best players from last season (Tillman, Kent, Colak, Sakala) and replaced them with utter donkeys and, if the evidence of their last game is anything to go by, they're an utter shambles defensively (if you can, have a look at Aberdeen's goals from the weekend and try not to piss yourself laughing). It's the absolute last club I'd go to if I was a manager like Lampard looking to resurrect my career. He's been blinded by them being a "big" club.

Pauno in talks with Almeria who are bottom of La Liga!

Didn't realise he was in charge at Chivas. They are a pretty big club

They like an ex Reading manager at Almeria. Gomes was also manager there, then again it's quicker to list the clubs he hasn't managed.

Bizarre move from Birmingham. They had similarly bad owners to us (though not as bad), but this move shows new ownership isn't an instant fix.

Utterly ludicrous decision to sack a manager in 6th just to replace them with a "big" name. Hopefully if we get new owners they do better.

I can only assume it's to help market merchandise, broadcasting etc., to the audience in the US (I.e., no on pitch logic)

I wouldn't mind John Eustace as our manager-is Selles still with us?

Ha. Even if we sack him (look how quickly we moved with Pauno and Ince), I expect Eustace will be holding out for Championship roles given the job he's done. Certainly not a L1 relegation battle.

Putting these facts aside I'd love to see it.

Eustace officially "parted company" with. Rooney will be in before the weekend.

Apparently, the board want someone who can instill a "no fear" mentality at the club. No mention of actually winning football games but you know, good for them.

Rooney with his career to date 27.5% win rate will ensure they have no fear of losing more than they win.

Reminds of when they were heading for the playoffs under Gary Rowett, then inexplicably replaced him with Zola and nearly got relegated.

They've been shit longer than us and have somehow avoided the same fate so far. Rowett was sacked in 2016.

Is Rooney destined to be the next manager with a 'big' prefix on their name?
