Pepe the HorsemanStranded Eustace officially "parted company" with. Rooney will be in before the weekend.
Apparently, the board want someone who can instill a "no fear" mentality at the club. No mention of actually winning football games but you know, good for them.
Rooney with his career to date 27.5% win rate will ensure they have no fear of losing more than they win.
Reminds of when they were heading for the playoffs under Gary Rowett, then inexplicably replaced him with Zola and nearly got relegated.

Was going to say they've got previous for this with Rosette and Zola.

Winston Biscuit Listened to a thing a couple of days ago that said the new American owners of Birmingham are currently in talks over a TV series on their new club, and them getting Rooney is nothing more than wanting a big name involved

WestYorksRoyal Rooney wants to get Birmingham City back to the Premier League where "it belongs". Is it me, or do we have around 40 clubs in this country who think they "belong" in the top flight?

Yes. Leeds, Wednesday, Soton, Sunderland, Stoke, Middlesbrough, Birmingham etc. Can’t see the PL agreeing to increase the number of teams in the division to satisfy all these entitled victim clubs though.
