The link does work.

He sounds like a politician avoiding answering a straight question. He sounds fairly business savvy tbf and more intelligent than I was expecting. His vision for the club doesn’t sound bad, albeit a bit unrealistic in terms of getting us back to the Premiership in 3/4 years. It’s a shame he isn’t someone that’s more credible as opposed to a fantasist. Hopefully, this has all now run it’s course.

Incredible! He talks about his incredibly successful energy drink, that is so much better than Red Bull and that Red Bull are scared of the threat/him. Yet, like others, I can't find anywhere to buy this fantastic drink that has Red Bull quaking in their boots!

I wonder what his 9 figure business was? Maybe the amount went to 8 decimal places.

The judge in the court case that he lost pretty much said he was a liar although clearly there wasn't enough behind it to prosecute him for contempt of court. A conviction for that should have seen him ruled out by the EFL's FFP criteria.

Yes if Storey passes the EFL fit and proper tests that would be an absolute joke. Cannot see that takeover option getting off the ground bout hopefully a serious and credible offer will come about soon.

On what grounds would he fail?

Don't potential owners need to show proof of funds, at very least?

He can probably do that if he has a consortium behind him.

Well let's wait and see. Doesn't sound like a fantasist to me ... talked a lot of sense. The proof is in the pudding.

To give him his dues he seems to have a fairly strong basic understanding and interest in football

Nothing else really of interest. Not too much else that I couldn’t have gone in and made up and probably sounded more convincing

Do suspect it’ll drag on for a while though sadly

I'd say because he actually sounds pretty sensible and understands the UK context better than his US financial backers maybe? Also, I'd not trust everything that's been written about him in the media ....

Oh, he's a complete chancer but if a consortium is made up of hedge funds, it would make sense for them to have a figurehead actually on the ground.

I wouldn't read too much into that Talk Sport interview either. It's almost like he got hold of the original SBWD statement and ticked off their list of demands.

Having listened to the interview he is clearly not a fan of Kevin McGuire or anyone else who asks politely where is money is or whether his previous debtors have been paid.
Clearly a smart man.....and I'd like to him to see him interviewed by Simon Jordan ....
An entertaining clash of egos for sure.

I cannot believe people are falling for his bullshit.
Just full of sound bites that people want to hear. Talked about renaming the stadium after his drink, and putting the name of the shirt. Does he not know SCL have a very long contract? How much will it cost him to buy his way out of that one?
Just talks b*ll*cks. He doesn't have the money and he talks about "investors"......noone "invests in a club like ours.

People like Storey have a knack of finding people who clearly are mesmerised by his inflated ego and verbage.....and crucially have got money to burn or cough cough cleaned.

If Storey is seen within 10 miles of the Mad Stad he needs to be dragged away by his pathetic shiithouse beard

With any luck that appendage will get tangled up in the Green Park wind turbine!

PS - After all I've said about him, I'm f8Cked if he ends up having a say in the running of the club!

Not really (not at all tbh) relevant but I'm now a huge fan of early ZZ Top. Very bluesy. Give it a listen. Or not

This may be influencing me towards our new "owner"

Nah judging by his recent businesses and sponsorships, he is more ZZ Flop.

I remember seeing ZZ Top at the Bracknell jazz festival in about 1980 when I was about 15. Not a patch on what they did after.
