No good for those of us who's day out isn't complete without 8 pints and a kebab though.

As per James Earnshaw on Twitter, we're supposedly getting more allocation.

RG30 Here's an idea - sell points to supporters. It works with other schemes such as Avios. Would be a good cash generator and the meltdown alone it would cause would be worth it.

Tuck that idea away for April Fools Day then pop it up on Twitter saying that is what the club intend to do

Apparently it's down to an 'adjusted ground layout' (Eastleigh website). I don't know what that means in practice - perhaps better segregation?

And you need to get a rail replacement bus from Winchester to Southampton Parkway or Eastleigh.

On Google Maps it looks like it should be an easy, short walk from Airport Parkway to the ground. It isn't. Busy roads to cross, no pavements and no access from the east side of the stadium, unless you fancy climbing over ditches and fences.

(I live not far from Eastleigh)

Sounds like you've attempted it a few times :)

LOL! I looked at it a couple of times when there's been a decent game there, but gave up trying to figure out how to get there, except by driving. No beer, no fun.
I live in Winchester these days. Reading fan by birth, but live in Winchester now and oxf*rd me, it's far more fun watching Non League.

1 point for every £2 you spend in the clubshop? That doesn't sound too crazy to me.

Eastleigh have sourced a temporary stand for this fixture, meaning a further 300 terrace tickets will be available in addition to the intial allocation of 800 tickets for this fixture (534 seats and 266 terrace). Tickets will be released for sale in stages according to the selling criteria listed below. Tickets will remain on sale, subject to availability, until 12pm on Friday 1 December 2023.

This is really bad planning.

Trains will not call at Southampton Airport Parkway.

If you are travelling to / from Southampton Airport Parkway you should use South Western Railway buses between Winchester and Southampton Central which will call at Southampton Airport Parkway.

I bet they aren't expecting a few hundred extra travellers on the 50 seater bus.

I imagine these engineering works are planned massively in advance of them occurring - ie. National Rail wouldn't've known Eastleigh would've been playing a sold out FA Cup match that day. They probably chose the Sunday to do the work because it was supposed to be relatively quiet on that route. I would hope they've put on an appropriate number of buses given the circumstances. Either way, I would suggest people attempt to get to Eastleigh as early as is reasonable.

Normally I’d be all over getting the train but given the first service gets into Eastleigh just over 90 mins before KO (assuming it runs to time) then that leaves you no time to get a pint before you need to set off for the ground. One of those rare days it’s better to go in the car.

Plus one, but I’d settle for a ploughman’s or pastie/pie.

Two terrace tickets purchased, even with the bus replacement it'll be an easy local one
