Much reduced review to follow later ... but an update for the FA Sunday Cup Tie delayed from last w/e:

FC BAPCO v East Christchurch will now take place at 14:00 tomorrow (Sun 19th) venue switched from a still soggy Marlow, up to behind the 'Dome', at the SCL (RG2 0FL) - free entry - 4G cage.

They clearly have a problem!

Statement from the club last night:

Following unacceptable behaviour by a small minority of supporters after the final whistle at our game against Slough Town today, we have CCTV footage and once reviewed, those supporters involved will be banned from attending all future home games.

Farnborough Football Club do not wish to be associated with such behaviour.

Statement from the club on 11th November:

The Club have been assisting Weymouth Football Club in an attempt to identify the travelling supporters involved in incidents in the stands before, during and after the final whistle.

Statements and footage are being collected by both Clubs, so that bans can be issued.

The Club is also aware of foul and abusive language being directed towards a player.

The player and his family have the Club’s full and unwavering support after being targeted from the stand and we will take appropriate actions.

Statement from the club on 7th November:

Farnborough Football Club are aware of an incident regarding a spectator at the Chippenham Town game tonight.

The Club are taking this extremely seriously and investigating.

We will not tolerate any foul or abusive language towards anyone, which includes discriminatory language.

It does seem to be something creeping into the non-league game with regularity. Not just the odd, but thankfully rare, scuffle, but the number of usually younger fans being deliberately antagonistic.

Wouldn't be surprised if they see Non League as "softer" than the Football League; less policing, less stewarding, less genuine nutters to hand them their arses back to them on a plate.

Basingstoke are by far the worst for it. Racism, sexism, fighting etc etc. They are disgusting.

2-2 F-T decent enough game in front of 538. Hungerford 1up and then 2-1 down. Home fans gave plenty of support but can’t say i heard anything that i wouldn’t hear at other grounds.

Yes they are and have been done for it on numerous occasions. You turn a blind eye to homophobia and racism all you like, say a lot about you.

https://www.bracknellnews.co.uk/news/23 ... al-buyers/
Kayne Steinborn-Busse puts both Bracknell and Sandhurst up for sale as his focus turns to his wife's battle with cancer.

Obvious sympathy for the guy, and totally understandable, but it does give cause for concern for the future, particularly with Bracknell. With the council also seemingly cold on his former ideas about building a new stadium to replace the current sports centre too, a return to the town seems a long way off.
