This was abandoned around 80' due to a player leg break (i think) and a 4H ambulance wait.

NathStPaul Finally Binfield sack their manager. I will tell you all about him at a later date, I was in his inner circle for a period of time this season at Binfield. Eye opening are the words I'd use.
It is a sad time for the club. I know who has the job but won't say for obvious reasons. They will need to get their book of footballing contacts out immediately and bring in about 10 players if they want any chance of staying up. Even then it is too late imo.

...was only a matter of time I s'pose - and reportedly 'Mr Binfield' Asst. Mgr 'Roger H.' had left the club at the end of October - though on both occasions I'd seen them earlier in the season he wasn't in the dug-out (admittedly one was an FA Cup/Trophy tie in N.Kent so he may not have travelled)
... club always seemed in danger of wilting in the ever-growing shadows of Bracknell/Ascot who could/would attract away their better players on regular occasions.
Has been a pretty good few years for the 'Moles', since they rose out of STEP06 ....and they have the 2021 Vase Final on their honours board now - as well as two very respectable finishes at STEP04 following that.
Made a lot of sensible investments off the pitch too - though the clubroom flooring is still like a trampoline!
Will be announcing a new boss before their next game apparently - this Sat H vs Guernsey - (s)he'll probably need to 'raid' any nearby STEP03/04 squads for fringe players that might want to try and help them recover - they are only 3 or 4 wins from rejoining the struggling pack above them ...... but they obviously need to do something about their extremely porous back-line - on a run of 1 point from a possible 30 and have shipped 42 goals in that sequence.

Kayne Steinborn-Busse puts both Bracknell and Sandhurst up for sale as his focus turns to his wife's battle with cancer.
Obvious sympathy for the guy, and totally understandable, but it does give cause for concern for the future, particularly with Bracknell. With the council also seemingly cold on his former ideas about building a new stadium to replace the current sports centre too, a return to the town seems a long way off.

Royalist The age old issue of a club moving out of town and never returning and that ends up in the death of the club. As these two clubs are owned by the same guy it's quite obvious what's going to happen. How are Bracknell's crowds holding up?

...not checked if they are still due some of the 'bigger' clubs in their remaining fixtures but Home attendances are down on average by about 50 to approx 320 per match from last season (22-23).
The average for their Isthmian One South Central championship season (21-22) was the roughly the same - approx 370 odd.

It's easy to be cynical, but the guy did marry into the family of previous owners of the club, so he's much less likely to be some chancer.
Asset-stripping Bracknell to build up a club with much less potential in Sandhurst would be an odd move, but it's not really clear what the situation is with Larges Lane. I'm not sure if it has even been sold yet. The initial land sale left it with a crazily tight footprint though, so going back isn't a realistic option, especially as a lot of work would need to be done to make it usable

It has been sold, haven't they already built on it? Could be wrong.

I'm sure I heard it hasn't been sold as they don't have planning permission yet.
The pitch and all temporary structures are gone, but I don't think any building work has started.
This is from a year ago
