Ok ian. I’m all for bashing selles when necessary but this isn’t one of them moments. Wigan are dogshit and haven’t troubled button once (other than the abbey fcuk up). These were all sensible subs. Just give it a rest.

Why don't you give it a rest?

Give what a rest, ian? You’re the one being the dick here. What should I give a rest. Praising selles for a change? He got everything right today. Give the guy some credit ffs

Impossible. He has made up his mind and that's it. All events will be manipulated to suit his agenda. End of.

My comparison of Azeez with Gilkes last week, is looking more appropriate with every match

The only way we're going down is if a firesale is necessary in January. This squad will survive comfortably.

We still look crazy poor compared to the fairly slick side that started the season, but confidence is much stronger and our squad quality is starting to show, with us picking up the sort of results we should have seen all season.

If we'd just abandoned sooner, or never gone with, that shitshow narrow formation we'd be looking comfortable but dull.

We really need to start putting a foot on the ball and controlling games, varying our tempo more.

First touch and passing must improve.

But we're picking up points and giving ourselves a chance. There's nothing to fear in L1, most of the teams are really quite poor.

With hindsight, Selles would have done a lot differently in his first 12 games or so. But, belatedly, he's learning. That's what you need to do as a rookie manager.

It's hardly hindsight if all the fans and Dellor see it 6 weeks before he does is it.

How long will you persist with this? If we beat Cheltenham, Exeter and Port Value you'll be starting to look like a right idiot.

I actually feel for the Wigan fans who travelled down today. Long journey near Christmas and their team are were absolutely pathetic. If the roles were reversed I'd be fuming.

Ok performance, felt so comfortable and didn't feel nervous in the game at any stage. Big win and got the job done.

Yes the narrow rubbish, followed by the 4-2-4 thing he tried straight after sucked badly. Craig coming in alongside Wing in a settled midfield has made a big difference

Do think having a much more settled side, Wing and Smith being fit, Azeez adding goals and assists and Knibbs played in his right position are all massive factors

We should never be bottom 4 with this squad regardless. Chance now to build on this whilst the performances are reasonable and we’re getting a bit of the rub of the green with injuries etc and get ourselves safe-ish in the next 6 weeks or so

Selles has turned the corner a little bit. He knows he's got things wrong and he's making changes and acknowledging it which is what you want. Our previous managers have had a tendency to be stubborn and never change so its a refreshing change.

Still learning his trade, so to speak (as are a few of our players).

Maybe there ‘really is’ potential for the future there?

We’ll see, meanwhile (and regardless) our resident ‘expert’ will chirp himself into a stupor.

To be honest. Not sure there were actually any Wigan fans there.
From my position in 1871 didn't see or hear any
