YorkshireRoyal99 Wonder if Holmes picked up an injury or something against Cheltenham. Either that or he's off to Stoke.

I would’ve thought it was the former, as you’d keep playing your best players as long as we’ve got them (unless he’s signing a contract today or something).

I'm going to guess he got a knock. Or maybe hope it's that.

Well he played the whole game so it'd be a surprise if he was crocked.

Exeter have got one of their coaches on the bench.

What I don't understand is, why does Selles, time after effing time keep bringing on Elliott to replace Mukairu, but when he drops him from the starting 11, he then uses Vickers? Makes no sense to me. I also thought the Cheltenham game was crying out for someone with close control and a good touch in tight spaces, Like Vickers, yet he brought on Elliott, who I'm yet to see a decent cameo/sub appearance out of.

Just so I'm clear, I'm happy he is starting Vickers. It just makes no sense to me.

Or maybe Selles is just being a d*k.

Vickers really struggled when out on the left last time. Not that Elliott has been brilliant out wide either.

Glad Caylan is playing, but it feels a bit like Selles sometimes picks people to set them up to fail.

It could be Knibbs that is out wide rather than Vickers. Unlikely though and to be honest I wouldn't move Knibbs who is playing well through the middle anyway.

I wouldn't say he struggled, he just didn't have as big of an impact as you might hope. He didn't make any mistakes and had a few touches of great skill. He just didn't create as much as you'd might hope. But he needs playing time to improve that. Look how long it has taken Azeez for example?

I suppose you could say the same about Elliott, but he just seems to lightweight currently and gets bullied off the ball way too easily and it really pisses me off.

I think what he actually said is the Trump is challenged by reading.

Why has Selles told our defence to pass to their keeper at every opportunity?

Two of the worst long passes I've ever seen from Abbey and Dorsett.

Well that was messy, but nice.

Lucky Smith hit the defender with the pass to take the sting out and drop for Knibbs or it was straight to their keeper.

We do look outnumbered in midfield, but we mostly bypass it and Exeter are proper turd, so it isn’t mattering too much

I’m going to guess less firm than usual but nothing to worry about.

Pass to Mola inside right, hooked it up to Smith, who poked it over the defender via their head for Knibbs to run onto and poke past keeper
