Mr Angry Looking at the Premier League, there is another record that is in danger; Derby's infamous 11 points haul from 2007/08.
Both Luton and Sheffield United look incapable of mustering a win between them at the moment.

stealthpapes Due to two Leicester supporting lads in my local, I've seen them a few times this year. The performances have been very solid. They're a really good team, with some excellent individuals. If anyone's going to come danger close, I think it may well be them.

LUX First good news for months
Leicester lost at home.
I’ll take that in the current circumstances.

Stranded Interesting* to note - with Leicester having lost the last 2, maybe Ipswich are the team to watch - also on 39pts after 16 but unlike Leicester have only lost once.

dontbedaft Seeing Sheffield United winning yesterday got me to wondering - is there a similar "record watch" thread on the Derby County message board where every year they track whether anyone will nick their less prestigious lowest ever points tally record?

The only thing that will preserve Derby's worst ever points tally is that this season there are 3 woeful teams at the bottom rather than just Derby (which was the case that season), which means they will earn points off each other thus bumping their totals up.

Yeh, in 07/08 both ourselves and Brum were competitive, getting over 35 points. Very rare to have such a gulf between 19th and 20th.

JR TalkSPORT this evening - 5.41 - brilliant passionate speech from Hugh Woozencroft as to why Reading 106 are the best Championship team ever regardless of what Leicester achieve.
Nice to hear a presenter / pundit talking so knowledgeably for once.

Mr Angry I think the major difference between us in 2005/06 and Leicester this season is that Leicester had played in the Premier League for a number of seasons before being relegated, whereas we were a Championship side.
They have a number of Internationals in their team before they played a single game this season, including Vardy; we had virtually no Internationals at the start of 05/06 - they became internationals becasue they played for us.
Our achievement will stand the test of time.
