Can't say I agree, but well done on the peaceful manner. And credit to the Vale fans.

100%. Not going to criticise any peaceful protests and the PV fans have been exceptionally supportive, hats off to them

Chap on SSN (he’s from Caversham I think) spent a good minute or so talking about the situation after the protest

PV have had lots of their own problems in the last 20 years or so, think there's a lot of solidarity in these things amongst lower division supporters.

Keep it peaceful and make a point but let the game recommence and finish. Of course (and as noted above) TV will try to avoid televising any of it and completely miss the point of the whole thing.

And after the announcement about the possible abandonment the fun begins. Things could start getting nasty amongst supporters.

All this going on and, of course, SKY not showing the slightest interest - shows how utterly meaningless Reading are in the scope of things and that this isn't actually going to do much of anything.

I'm offshore in Bangladesh on a vessel. Managed to see the first 30 seconds or so of the protest before tye cameras got cut but massive well done to everyone involved, gave me goosebumps.

Having said that, don't let it get violent.

They’ve spoken about it twice, once at length. They do have 40 other games to cover tbf

No surprise there. Football's financial problems are mostly the result of the huge riches they throw at the PL, so they won't highlight anything that could make that link. But regardless of that, the coverage for us has been shocking - rarely even a correspondent on a dodgy phone line. Someone at Sky is not a fan!

Club talking to the FL now about whether this game will be abandoned. Can't see any other outcome now. Another 3 points lost and more expense at having to restage a midweek game. Not to mention the amount of income lost due to the inevitable number of games behind closed door.

Next will they try getting an away game abandoned.
