My best guess would be that it firstly ensures relegation as a result of lost revenue and further sanctions such as points deductions for not paying wages. Secondly, the EFL may disqualify him from ownership thus requiring a new source of funds just to fund the club on a daily basis. Thirdly, the value proposition for a new owner diminishes yet further as buying the stadium and Bearwood for a league 2 club is a huge outlay with limited potential return. At best we would most likely be ground sharing somewhere next season on a shoestring budget. At worst we’d fold through lack of funds.
It all depends what you think Dai’s intentions are with the land at the stadium and at Bearwood. The fact that the property developer Thais retained an interest when the club was last sold has always been at the back of my mind.
I know the stadium has been declared a community asset and maybe government / council can make it clear that no change of use and / or property development can occur on either site. If such a thing was legally possible then that might just get a sale over the line at some point.

It's incompetence. They don't have a clue how to respond to Saturday, nor the build up to it where Pang's statement plus the December meeting with SBWD have all been exposed as lies.

They suggested invading and occupying the pitch at the end of the game (support team throughout) on Saturday. I believe some of them are now suggesting the protests should move to London.

One independent 'expert' on Twitter (he seems to know what he is talking about and has produced a lot of info about Dodgy Dai's dealings/troubles in China) said that they can only bar him from being a director. He will remain as majority shareholder as long as he chooses.

It's normal practise to do pre-record if it fits in with the diary of the person you want to interview. Radio and tv shows do it all the time, and it doesnt change the format of the interview, and doesnt give the interviewee the chance to retract the interview. It already belongs to the media group once recorded. I sit in on these on a weekly basis with R4,R5, Times Radio etc.

It does prevent the radio allowing members of the public calling in, but interviewees could veto that anyway.

And he’ll remain the owner of the main assets (Stadium/Bearwood) which is the key point. They both have ongoing value regardless of whether there is a Reading football club in the future.
