Maidenhead? On a train line, fits 4000 which we'd sell out every week. A decent start, and perhaps we could lease the SCL when we progress enough. Though I presume the phoenix club would refuse to pay Dai a penny as a point of principle.

I think Maidenhead is the only realistic option. Going to Wycombe as a non-league club would be a disaster.

Even then, it could only be a temporary option. We'd need to get back to The Madejski (or a proper new stadium in the town) before too long. I wouldn't want to go back to The Madejski with Dai as the owner though, and if he stuck to his current rental price, we couldn't afford it anyway.

I don't think Maidenhead is suitable for the Football League, which is why I suggested Wycombe if a phoenix club is close to or in the Football League. Although Maidenhead would be fine in the whole of the non-league. Does depend on the cost of rent and the crowds the club would be expected to get.

Hopefully a ground in Reading could be obtained prior to having to worry about a Football League suitable stadium.

We'll be a good few years away from worrying about having a ground up to League standard.

I think the highest we could join would be step 4, but without a proper ground 5 or 6 would be more likely.

Watched some YouTube on him and he seemed to have a very stylish long pass about him. But it was all u21 games with as much time as he wanted on the ball. He’s quite tall which helps. Just a big transition from u21 to bottom end of div1. Like mentioned sure he is a good player but very likely not the right player

This window could've been a lot worse. Of our regular starters: we've only lost Abbey and Holmes, who's back until the end of the season. Losing a couple of young players and a couple of bench players is disappointing, but we appear to have held on to Wing, Smith, Knibbs and Azeez - who'll make or break our season on the pitch.
