Snowflake Royal This is desperately poor.

Has Knibbs touched the ball this half?

For xG nerds, does a goal like our 2nd with a few blocked shots rack up our xG? And isn't that misleading given it was one attacking move?

The nerdiest answer to this question can be found here: https://jogall.github.io/2019-01-16-adjusted-xG/

Am I making this up (don't frequent Reading supporter circles all that much), or is Knibbs incredibly underrated?

He's very good at stealing the ball and chasing down. And he has a knack of scoring goals. But he also goes missing a lot, possibly because we bypass him a fair bit.

Great result and second half performance , barring points deductions, there's no way on gods earth that team is going down, we're safe and deservedly so

Knibbs strikes me as a bit of a barometer for the team. If he plays well, we play well, although whether that's down to him lifting the team or the team lifting him, I really don't know.

Good result. Puts Pompey and the last minute Fleetwood equaliser behind us. On to Shrewsbury!

NathStPaul This bloke on the BBC Berks commentary is superior to Dellor in every way.

Weirdly I was thinking the exact opposite.

I couldnt stand the pronunciations of Afeez, Mbengway, and Mawla.

He also got way overexcited a few times when a shot went miles over / wide.

1 win down. 4 more wins to go, starting Saturday when I hope we burry Shrewsbury after throwing it away at their place.

Tbh I hadn’t looked at the table before the game - that really was a huge 3 points

Again the big 4 doing what they do best and Mbengue/Bindon seems to be working

Excellent night all round

He's not a Wing or Azeez type player who can make something out of nothing but if we get him involved in the game, we usually play better. He does work hard as well

And is always moving off the ball. Sort of player to get plenty of tap ins and scrappy finishes as they're always in the box when the ball comes in.
