Clyde1998 IIRC, Lincoln would've got 105 points under three points for a win.

From Despair To Where? That's the one I'm thinking of but Donny achieved it in 4 fewer games.

Because we hold the record outright.
My specific question was whether if two sides achieved 106 would the side with the better goal difference be considered the record holder ?
I assume you aren’t a stats man.
big fan of the asterisk for Lincoln City's efforts under 2 points for a win, I assume.

If we're talking about the Donny and Lincoln seasons callung the record into question, we may as well concede it given some of the PL points tallies on 38 games, that would easily eclipsed 106 if they played 46 games.

dontbedaft Ipswich dropping points means that they, like Leeds, can now only match 106.
