blueroyalsHound They’ll find training facilities easy enough. It might be a trek and they might not be very good but they’ll find somewhere
Don't forget that needs to include space for the academy teams and the women's team. Or 3 separate facilities
That's true, but Hogwood was significantly smaller than Bearwood and the first-team and academy did well enough there. Not sure if the Women's team were also based there, but given their current part-time status perhaps their requirements have reduced or at least there may be less issues in terms of pitch clashes; gym and rehab rooms usage etc. We've held Category A Academy Status since 2012, bar a year, so it's not like the superb facilities we enjoy(ed) at Bearwood were the only reason for that accreditation.
Not sure the Rams pitch is really viable for hosting Reading FC matches, but could see a scenario where they get their long-wished-for move to a better facility capable of hosting Championship rugby and Reading convert that to a first-team training ground.
