You haven't been a Reading fan for years. You just hang around here like a bad smell, and that smell smells of shit because that's what you're a piece of.

Mid Sussex Royal We trained in Prospect Park well into the 1980's

We used to train on concrete in the car park behind the Town End at Elm Park in the late 70’s.

Kudos to the many Wycombe fans joining our protest. Never judge clubs upon the actions of their owners.

I try not to be cruel.

Please shut the oxf*rd up. You’re making Reading fans look like utter dickheads. We can’t afford to go around insulting other clubs and especially not their fans.

If you want to feel like you’re doing something then focus on catching flies with honey. Otherwise, shut up and stop being a dick. And if you can’t do that then just start considering yourself a Bournemouth fan.

It’s like when we helped them out by buying Simon Church. Or when we helped Cork out by buying Alan Bennett.

Exactly. Conduct yourself with decorum or go back to your Bournemouth YouTube channel please.

If the separate sale of Bearwood facilitates the sale of the club (I know it’s a stretch) then Wycombe will have been instrumental in SAVING the club ….. just saying

This! And SBWD will look stupid. However I guess something needed to be said and you can't exactly wait for all the facts to be known.

However it looks like the loss of Bearwood is probably going to be, thankfully, the most upsetting thing that will come out of all this.

Let's hope the new lot turn out to be friendly and will actually take time to communicate with club staff, media and the local community.

Less than two weeks ago there were comments that literally ANYONE would do as an owner to get rid of Dai.
Now there are comments about Saudi’s, American’s, etc.
Have we really decided that the death of the club would be better than either of those or similar ?

They are better than Dai. That bar is so low its buried 6 feet under. I think we'd all prefer someone palatable that we thought was good though.

Agree. It’s only natural to want decent owners of your own club but as you say when you e got Dai beggars can’t be choosers

WestYorksRoyal I don't know about the history of Cork City, but a quick glance on Wikipedia says they upgraded their stadium in 2006 which suggests they were hardly at death's door.

Correct you dont know about the history of Cork City. Wind your google search forward to 2008

https://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer ... 92914.html

I'll help you.

Players leave and come. It was sad to see us sell players and yes clubs took advantage in the Jan window. But selling a stadium or training ground sale to a league rival is a different matter entirely. So it's ridiculous to compare this to us taking advantage of Cork's situation. They didn't go bust

they went bust in 2010, had a winding-up order in the high court for failing to pay tax iirc
