Bolton away, the perfect Easter fixture for the likes of Reading say the FL
The Trotters are currently trailing Derby by 6 points for the second automatic promotion place, but do have a game in hand, so expectation from this game will not be very high but there are uncertainties with Bolton at the moment given they've only won 2 of their last 6 games, but they were both home wins without conceding a goal so this will be pretty tough.
It's the strikers that need to be stopped as Dion Charles (13) and Victor Adeboyejo (10) have rattled in 23 between them this season in addition Paris Maghoma and George Thomason have been thoroughly decent contributors from midfield while Cameron Jerome is playing the role of perennial substitute (which will be something for us to look forward to after about an hour) so put that lot together with some thought of revenge for the Royals turning them over earlier in the season this game will be a real challenge for Mr Selles.
Everyone will hopefully still be fit after the Good Friday 3 points v Northampton and hopefully any tiredness will be matched by tiredness in the Bolton team, so it should still be the best side that Reading can put together that takes to the field
The other Easter Monday L1 games involving strugglers...
Bristol Rovers v Shrewsbury
Burton v Barnsley
Cambridge v Wigan
Carlisle v Lincoln
Charlton v Stevenage
Cheltenham v Exeter
Northampton v Port Vale
Oxford v Fleetwood

Historically
Just the 3 wins to show from 16 previous league visits to Bolton Wanderers and all league games have been played in the years since 1984. Only one clean sheet has been managed by Reading in those games as well. Bolton have managed more than double the number of Reading wins so Bolton away is a game that usually results in a bad case of depression.
However, on the upside, this century Reading have only lost 1 of their 7 visits to Bolton (W2 D4 L1)...
