Always seemed to be the case that the biggest games stank the place out but in recent years they have generally delivered epic contests.

Not so today. :|

City have scored in each of their last 57 home games, Arsenal came with a plan to stifle them, it worked and was never going to be pretty.

They`ve hardly given Haaland a kick in either game.

NathStPaul Tactical battle which has livened up in the second half.

“Tactical battle” - usually an indication of a dreadful game!

5 of the 6 games between the top 3 have ended in draws, watching that “spectacle” I can see why

Man City are so dreadfully dull, fair play as their method of “controlling” each game has worked extremely well for them in recent years but it’s not entertaining in the slightest, no wonder their fans can’t generate any sort of atmosphere regardless of their success!

Think Liverpool’s season will be defined by those three away games in six days. Fulham, Everton and West Ham. Games they should win but tough on paper

No doubt Klopp will be whinging about having to play Wednesday night and Saturday early again!

Arsenal have beaten city and Liverpool so it can`t be 5 out of 6.

Indeed they have - may have misheard the quote!

Christmas period for Arsenal could be really costly for them, losing to Villa, Fulham and West Ham all in the space of a few weeks

Odd that he chose Grealish to have a go at, when I thought he was pretty good when he came on.

Maybe he figures Grealish can take it whereas it might break Doku, and KDB would just tell him to fcuk off.

Although he’d never admit to it being a mistake, I do wonder how much he regrets letting Palmer go.

Apparently the Saturday early ko slot isn't well liked by most team's management yet Liverpool get lumbered with it a hell of a lot, at the last count I think someone had found that 'pool had been dumped on with that time on about 14 occasions over the last 2/3 seasons while the next nearest club was City who had had 6 games.

Looking at the run ins for all three teams, Liverpool have one which is from the very depths of hell while City's is **** easy. So I reckon City could well chalk up yet another title

Sutton were bottom by a few points, then they won the last 3 games and are now winning again. The live table has them out of the relegation zone.

Really hope Ipswich go up, they deserve it for how they have played all season. They really do play the "right way".

LOL at Southampton. Really can't stand Russel Martin, arrogant oxf*rd.

It's that Villa away game for Liverpool that sticks out for me. Right where they might need a victory to maintain the edge going into the final game. Because there's not a snowball's chance in hell that West Ham do anyone a favour on the last day.

The Villa Park 'fortress' has dissolved a little, after 15 wins in a row or whatever it was, they have lost three of five at home, but Klopp won't relish that trip.

It was Villa of course who folded from 2-0 against City on the final day in 21/22 to deny Liverpool.

Spurs will have a big say - perhaps one advantage to Liverpool is that their rivals both play them away from home.

Think they’re the most likely to make a fist of it next season too. The way they play, Leicester and Southampton will plummet back down - remind me of Burnley last season. Leeds may hold their own too but Farke has previous for really struggling in the Prem

Something ominous about City swatting aside a very good Villa team last night.

And this is now Foden's best goalscoring season by some distance, he has 21 in all competitions.

On the wider Premier League, it's encouraging that, even in Kane's absence, six of the top ten goalscorers - Solanke, Bowen, Watkins, Foden, Saka, Palmer - are English.
