They're barely celebrating. They're embarrassed, as they should be. Saved by a 1mm VAR call.

City will smash them.

Embarrassing afternoon for United, they are quite pathetic. Can't wait to see them get dicked in the final.

genome VAR has completely ruined the emotion of the game

Pre VAR no-one would have complained at the goal standing. Gutted for Cov

City didn’t look great yesterday
And United will step it up against them

So City will only get 3 or 4

The utterly appalling officiating that has destroyed the integrity of the PL this season has been called out yet again...

Nottingham Forest tweeted
Three extremely poor decisions - three penalties not given - which we simply cannot accept.

We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times.

NFFC will now consider its options.

Now Forest have thrown their toys out of the pram again, I wonder if the PL will take further action against them.

Forest considering further options  invasion of Derby maybe :?

I still can't see the offside bit? It still looks level to me.

It’s a difficult argument to present from a logical perspective because, yeah, I suppose the right decision was reached, but it’s just so against the passion and emotion of the game. Just a total buzzkill. Robbed of an iconic FA Cup moment that Coventry fans would be telling their grandchildren about because of 1 inch. It’s so so shit.

It’s dreadful. Always has been and always will be

But but but it eliminates controversy and helps us come to the right decision!

I’m convinced if that goal goes in at the other end and it’s not disallowed

It would have been an injustice if United had gone out

Wolfcastle says HI!

Pre VAR, they used to talk about benefit of the doubt to the attacking team for tight calls, which this definitely was.

But similarly, linesmen are taught to leave their flags down now as VAR can check afterwards, so perhaps he would have flagged without VAR.

What are you doing? Trolling and celebrating on a Reading FC forum after one of the most embarrassing SF wins of all time?

Pepe the Horseman

Three extremely poor decisions - three penalties not given - which we simply cannot accept.

We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times.

NFFC will now consider its options.

Lol.

Those options likely to be some fairly hot water, given they've basically accused the VAR ref of being corrupt.

Yeah that's outrageous. Hopefully a huge fine and their club account banned from social media posting.

So should ETH stay or go as Man Utd manager after they win the game because a Championship player couldn't put his penalty on target?
