WestYorksRoyal Nothing is done until it's done. But if Dai wants to change his mind, he has to repay all money lent over April and May otherwise the club and Bearwood can be seized at which will be a cut price.

blythspartanSnowflake Royal The next month is going to be super boring isn’t it.
Nothing to play for other than pride and momentum to take into next season in the remaining two games.
Contract negotiations and releases likely mostly on hold for the takeover. Blackout on takeover info until its done or falls through.
Speculation on new signings pointless until the takeover goes through, or if it doesn’t.
Hard to get too interested in ups and downs while we wait to see if we have a club.
I agree IR.
With regards to the takeover I am hoping that Howe did so much legwork to get to exclusivity that it’ll be completed sooner rather than later. Going with almost a full glass I reckon it’ll be by 26 April.

Please let this happen today or tomorrow.

Stranded So, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong,
Redwood have lead money and Dai's shares in the club are the collateral - so if the deal falls through and Dai/the club default on repayments of that loan, Redwood can claim the shares as repayment? Therefore essentially getting the club for nothing.
If that's correct, then suggests it is basically done then doesn't it?

I think it's the point of no return. This seems to be like a mortgage now - Dai still owns the club, but if he falls behind on repayment of the loan the Redwood get all of Dai's shares. You wouldn't enter into a binding agreement like that unless the deal is happening.
