Mid Sussex Royal WestYorksRoyal bakerlou The Football Governance Bill didn't get passed prior to the wind-up of the current Parliament, so we're a but further away from any formal Regulator (and / or being made an early doors Test Case, as Roger Titford reported in the new WSC).
Probably a good thing. Labour will resurrect it, with a PM who is a genuine football fan. It's not a hard left incoming government, but where the interests of fans are in direct conflict with billionaire and hedge fund owners, they'll still be more inclined to side with fans than the Tories.
Not sure about that.
A new incoming government will have a million things more important than football to sort.
There's also a good chance of a hung parliament which will make it even worse.
At least locally Redwood is going. He alone gave no support at all.
Fair point. No doubt the incoming secretary for culture, media and sport and their ministers will sit around twiddling their thumbs and earning a salary for nothing, while telling us their department is a waste of resources given the challenges the country is facing.
