LUX Lolz, 7-5 to Germany in the poll.
I always support the Home Nations, must admit.
Oh well.

Orion1871Franchise FCOrion1871 Been a few tackles like that this season with only a yellow given. Good to see a ref actually giving a red card for it. PL refs take note.
Both feet off the ground, clearly out of control, studs up, contact above the ankle
Apart from that I can’t see why it was red
Not sure why the roll eyes. I didn't say it wasn't a red. I said it was a red, and there have been similar tackles this season where only a yellow was given for it.

It wasn’t studs up into the challenge though. He gets the ball then makes contact kicking the back of Gundogan’s calf. Side of his calf at the worst.

Could you not see the other foot studs up straight into the ankle first on the repeated slow mos?

Royal Rother Very impressed by Germany.
Slick passing, and movement all done at speed.
Hardly a back pass to Neuer.
Contrast that to England’s laboured passing, tedious rotation amongst the back 4 that eventually finds its way back to Pickford on Sunday.
Southgate OUT!

Unless Clarke jumps ship to Serbia overnight i can't see them or anyone for that matter leaving the amount of space in behind them that Scotland did for Germany. Having a high line is one thing but the whole point when you do it is you shorten the pitch and make it easier to put pressure on the ball. Scotland didn't bother with that either, just sat off the ball and left the space in behind. Baffling tactics.
Most teams that play England it will a deep block and hit us on the break which whether people like it or not may well require a fair bit of patience.
That said, Musiala's ability to dribble out of tight spots at pace puts a little perspective on those that will claim our young talent should be world beaters.

I don’t subscribe to that, but Musiala is no different to Foden on that score

Snowflake Royal Yeah, sure they tried, but they approached the game all wrong.
They left huge gaps down each flank and between midfield and attack.
They went in thinking they had a chance, completely underestimating Germany. They were set up like 3-4-3 and they could take the game to Germany, but they barely had a kick. And they didn’t adapt.
England would have battered that performance too.

I think SP has admitted he missed that at first
