Anyone know why Kane is captain, never exactly see a captain's performance when things get difficult, rather he wasn't given that role and left to concentrate on sticking the ball in the net.

This Trent experiment is really not working

No point selecting a player renowned for picking out runners when your attackers don’t run

TAA at CDM is not a goer. Foden at no.10 ok, not stuck out on the wing

Or renowned for being a crap defender and lazy at tracking back. It's like Rice is having to do his job for him. His lack of spacial awareness was there for all to see on the Denmark goal. He was covering nothing.

Southgate is hopeless. England get places now but despite him, really fed up of the same problems every game but never any improvement or change in approach. Wtf is he there for, he might as well be sat at home playing FIFA.

Pitch is a shambles too, which doesn't help either side.

Gordon on the left rather than Foden. Foden at number 10 or on the bench

Change Trent for an actual midfielder

Southgate is such a negative weasel of a man. We have the players to go for the throat yet he sits back and let's Denmark dictate. Awful.

St Pauli
Green Caught napping

Brogue The pitch is unacceptable for a nation like Germany hosting a major tournament. They should have the book thrown at them

Yeh and why is the roof shut? Looks like the going is pretty heavy anyway.

Doesn’t look that bad to me. What do you want from a pitch?

I know you're in Wales now but just a reminder the code for today's game is association football.

Is there a reason Trent can't play in his actual position?

Agree Gordon for Foden has to happen (but then it should have happened v Serbia but didn't). Wharton for TAA might be worth a shot too.

Would like Mainoo for TAA. Need some aggression and bite in midfield.

Bellingham should be given a free role and told to go out and do whatever he wants.

The whole team should be encouraged/told to push up and give the Danes something to worry about not to sit back and wait.

If we're trying to shoehorn everyone in...

.....................Rice (6)............................
.............................Bellingham (8).......

Saka...........Foden (10)...........Gordon

.........................Kane...........................

A stronger midfield with Bellingham in his best position

.............Rice (6).....Mainoo/Wharton...............

Saka...............Bellingham (10)............Gordon

................................Kane...................................
