He’s certainly more industrious than TAA, so on that basis does answer one of the plethora of questions

A lot of pundits and Chelsea fans defending Gallagher, saying he's better on the ball than he's given credit for. Apparently performed well in a deeper role towards the end of the season when they finished strongly. I'm not sold, but let's wait and see.

Baffling that Palmer won't be thrown in for this in the Foden role. Couldn't have done much more over the course of the season to prove worthy of an England start. I'd get it if Foden had performed but he's been crap (along with others).

Yep, given that Palmer and Foden are both left footed its annoying that its not the best position for either of them. Gordon normally plays out of the left for Newcastle doesn't he? Plus he'll have an understanding with Trippier as Trippier has played left back for Newcastle at times this season. I'd be playing Gordon left, Saka right and have Bellingham and Foden central in front of Rice. Leaving Palmer as a sub for the second half if we need to change it up. I'd also be telling Kane that if he keeps dropping deep into Bellingham and Foden's space that he'll be getting subbed off after 30mins.
