Those winners were in South Groups A, B,C and D - so presumably the rules are that the runners up in E, F G and H(us) are kept apart from the other lot until the South final- ie if we win we will still play winners in the “ mini group “

Just re-read the rules and they don’t fully explain, however it does say that when it gets to the Semi- final stage( 2 from North and 2 South) it is an open draw.

It'll come down to how much clubs choose to hybridise with their youngsters for the knock out rounds. My guess is that'll happen less and less as Wembley gets nearer and nearer.
