LUX This applies more to the Swiss goalie for Saka’s equaliser. It was superbly placed and went in off a post, but the goalie sinks to his knees and makes no attempt,
Again you know what happens. This is a common problem when evaluating any stochastic process
Comes through a load of traffic. If the goalkeeper doesn't see the player shape up to hit it, it's difficult to process the direction, speed, of the ball, etc in the time it takes the ball to travel past the goalkeeper.
The French goal can go in effectively three directions relative to the keeper:
- left
- straight
- right
By the time he's evaluated, he's already behind...depends on where the balance of his weight is, etc etc etc.
