True - though I guess a lot of Rusheshas time was whilst on trial rather than at the club already

We've given game time to twenty-nine players over the two matches, so I'd agree I wouldn't be too sure it's indicative of anything yet.

Yiadom was (IIRC) injured for the final few games of last season, so may not have recovered yet, and Bindon has gone off to the Olympics. These two absences may be allowing a couple of players opportunities they wouldn't have been receiving otherwise, along with any other absences we're not aware of - especially Kanu at centre-back. Button, Abrefa, Dorsett, Knibbs and Tuma weren't involved at all today, which could be injury/fitness related.

It could simply be Selles wanting to give some of the younger players an opportunity to get themselves in to the first team picture ahead of the season. Ryan will have a good opportunity to become our first choice left-back for the start of the season, especially if we haven't signed anyone by then; Kanu will be competing to become a back-up option with Dean and the other young centre-backs.
