RG30
Royals and Racers Royals 1st team squad pre-season might have stepped up a notch yesterday as i think they travelled to Ipswich to play a behind closed doors un- publicised match against the tractor boys. Result could have been 1-1

Confirmed by Selles on the official club interview - Mamadi Camara with the goal

And some people said in so many words that it was irrelevant and a waste of time posting :D

I think I’ll pay £12.00 for all 3 games.

Presume Berks might cover the games as well (unless there's Rowing or Dressage or something going on at the Olympics).

Nice, £12 for three friendlies from the sofa seems reasonable.

It's definitely not a strong defence.

Mbengue the senior organiser

We're lacking a bit upfront and at the back, and lucky not to be losing, but it's a solid if unspectacular perfromance. I don't know how strong QPR's side is, but going in 0-0 seems decent.

Don't think anyone is really standing out good or bad. Mbengue probably the most positive, Savage perhaps the most underperforming. Pereira made a terrific save.

Wareham gives a lot of bustle and energy, but I'm not convicnced about the quality. Kelv needs to get more involved.

The press isn't quite there yet, but I like the look of it. Probably not going to be lots of L1 sides looking to play out through it though.

Don't know Garcia, I presume it's Andre Garcia? Isn't he only 16? Presume he must be amazing, how is he doing?

He's looked a bit out of his depth but he was up against one of their best threats, so hardly surprising.

Would not say one for this season.

Pretty shoddy coverage from Berks. More interested in horses in the first half and the second half was the blind leading the blind before being cut off entirely with the "can't give you commentary as it's between 3 and 5 on a Saturday" message.

Run ragged by their number 11. No shame in it as 11 was their best player.

On my way back from Didcot. Was it a good performance?

Looks like Pereira made a lot of good saves. Obviously a very different defence to the one I’d expect to start the season, so maybe can’t draw too much from today in that regard.

Good to get the win.

All good for the confidence etc and nice to see Knibbs back

Kanu sounds like he did pretty well? Obvs won’t get in ahead of Bindon but could be a useful option

Garcia completely out of his depth, couldn’t cope with the winger’s pace (Smyth).

Elliott none existent, as was Femi until the goal.

Mbengue and Kano were very strong.

Wing excellent.

Kelvin flattered to deceive, but can win a game for you.

Camara looked bright.

Wareham put in excellent effort.

Rushesha not a right back, neither is Craig.

Slightly nervous who’ll start the season at RB and LB, otherwise lots of positives.

QPR are going down.
