Listened to a podcast today you might like. It Was What It Was is a new football history podcast and the latest one is on Man Utd in the 90's and they do a kind of 6 sliding doors moments where without them it wouldn't have happened (just an excuse to talk about some interesting football things really)

Listened to David Moyes being interviewed by Simon Jordan on some podcast or other on my walk to work this morning. Was quite interesting.

Made the (obvious) point that his summer transfer window at Man Utd wasn't good enough, but did say they had an agreement for Fabregas to join and it never happened. Fabregas agreed the deal as he thought he was being pushed out at Barcelona and said if he was not in the starting XI for Barcelona's first game of the season then he would sign, but he was in the starting line up so stayed. Also said they were in talks with Gareth Bale about him joining them from Spurs, but once Real Madrid became serious that was the only place he was going.

For some reason I do enjoy hearing about possible transfers that fell through, and those are 2 that I wasn't aware of.
