Just for clarity and I'm sure this has been answered before, but what's the link between Chiron and Redwood? Am I right in thinking Redwood would be the organisation owning the club, with Chiron providing investment?

I know Leo Rifkind was a director of both and is still listed as a director of Chiron. Could simply be a case of the people who'll be running the day-to-day operations of the club being made directors of Redwood?

With Couhig now a director of Redwood Holdings I’d like to think that the takeover might be close. Hopefully, we’ll see them replace Renhe Sports on the CH filings soon.

Secondly, and most importantly - the fact the takeover hasn’t happened yet is so concerning.

I’m so pleased with how the pre season friendlies have gone all things considered.

But if we go in to the season with this squad we are surely destined for another relegation scrap. Wing, azeez, smith and co can only take us so far.

Couhig, if you’re gonna take over please, please, please just get it over the line before the season starts.

At best we’re gonna be mid table, and I would bite your knob off for a 12th place finish right now.

I was so optimistic at the end of last season. We finished so strong, and looked like a takeover was imminent. Thought we would be pushing for promotion this season.

But this off season has been more than depressing.

The only team out of 92 not to have made a signing.

Sorry for the rant but I just needed to get it off my chest.

Doesn't appear to be up todate. As Renhe Commercial Property Holdings ceased to be known as such back in 2019.

More recent events. On the 1st August the Hong Kong stock exchange announced that the China Dili Group will be officially delisted on the 12th August 2024. Dai's empire has finally totally crumbled into oblivion it seems. Hardly surprising that matters aren't moving fast. As the web that was created is probably being systemically dismantled.

Thanks to the profanity filter, I misread that as Couhuig jumping out in an Oxford kit and and he bought us as some kind of ha ha gotcha in revenge for protesting at Wycombe and attacking him with stickers. It would be the ultimate wind up if he did, don't think he'd get out of there alive though.
