Does anyone have quick access to the photo of a weird bunch of apparent gangsters that we all saw in the directors box last year? We all wondered who they were! One was asleep, several others looked very shifty, there was a classic gangster's moll, and one was Rob Couhig in a black fedora hat.
I loved the photo, and now I'm loving being on the cusp of these guys actually owning the club and lifting us all from the absolute tedium of the Yongge years. It's unforgivable that Dai Yongge has hardly ever issued a press statement of any kind...at any stage! Will he even say goodbye?

If things are as far along as we are led to believe then no he didn't say goodbye but then he didn't even say hello. However no one cares or wants to ever hear from him again.

Is there a sweepstake on which official announcement will be first?

Azeez transfer or change in ownership...

My bet is on:

Big fanfare announcement for new ownership...

Followed by confirmation of Millwall bid accepted for an 'undisclosed' fee...

I’d love to think the above won’t be the case, but I don’t trust Dai.

EPR have you heard any bad news?

Given Couhig and the gang were there last night, I don't think we need to be concerned with anything collapsing, just yet at least. If by all accounts this is just awaiting an EFL seal of approval then we are in the "any time now" portion of the takeover.

Little bit disappointing as I was looking forward to the club and everyone connected to it being able to move on and focus on football.

Probably a bit early to panic.

Just over a week for the EFL to hang on, so they can prevent us from making any signings until January.

Not ideal is it, but can still get free agents in.

If it is a case of waiting for EFL approval then a contract has likely been signed which states the club and assets will be exchanged for £x upon the EFL approval taking place, so neither side can pull out without there being legal repercussions as long as the EFL say yes.... but also wise not to announce anything until the sale is completed, just in case one side do try and pull out (think we can all guess which side that might be)

Which is pretty much all we've been able to sign anyway.

Wonder what the position would be if all parties have signed the deal, all evidence of funding etc has been shared and accepted but the EFL delayed sign off until September - therefore stopping the accounts being signed off and us signing the few loanees we apparently have lined up.

If it is now solely awaiting approval by The EFL, why the hell can't the clowns pull their fingers out of their posteriors and get on with it, or at least state the day by which approval will be given/denied?

I still fear Dai has something to do with this and find it strange that Couhig would refer to The EFL as 'the other side', rather than 'The EFL' or 'the authorities'.

I reckon the EFL have approved it. This will all be down to Dai. As you say the EFL are not the other side of this business transaction.

It will take the Dai hatred to a whole new level if that`s possible if this falls through now, not that I expect it to mind.
